This is for the blog post for last Friday. Although this year is my senior year in high school, I took senior-level Ingliss last year. The thing that I liked most to read was a play called "Fences." It was a bout an African-American family in the 1940s, and they went through struggles, like the fact that the sun really wanted to play football, but because he was black his parents did not support his decision to want to play football. Also, the husband cheated on his wife and got another girl pregnant, and I thought that was really weird because that's exactly what happened to our English teacher that year. Although in the play, the mom and the dad stayed together, despite this. I kind of gave students in my class but idea that you can get there anything in your relationship, and you do not have to resort to violence or anything of that nature. The thing that I hated the most to read, was Macbeth. Shakespeare plays don't make sense to me anyway, and it was even harder because we read this while he was on maternity leave and we watch the remake that was created in about two years ago. I still don't understand what happened.
