This is for Monday is a blog post. So, today I went into work and there was no baker to make my cake. My manager did not schedule anyone, and the person that was supposed to come and has no phone and could not come in. So I come in with pretty much nothing at all, and then when someone started to mix the cake batter, the dropper for the donuts almost caught on fire. It was smoking and it was really really crazy. My manager had to come in and drive all the way to Kalamazoo to get a new one, and the cake batter set for really long time so the donuts came out horrible. Even though I was supposed to do cake donuts, I did not search you get any of them until about 7:30. So I did the filled donuts, which is usually the job of the person that comes after me. It was kind of frustrating because the new baker wasn't following our instructions and kept putting his stuff wherever he wanted to, and I was supposed to leave at 9 and I did not leave until about 10:30. I actually was surprised, because I thought I would be there until 11:30 or maybe even midnight.
